Storie di gratitudine presso il Gemelli ART.
Dear Professor Gambacorta,
I hope this message finds you well. I wanted to update you on my current progress - I have recently completed almost a year at Institut Curie in Paris, and I am now preparing to begin my final year of residency at Institut Gustave Roussy.
As I reflect on my journey from the last year to today I realize how profoundly my time at Gemelli has shaped my path. The seven months I spent in the Radiotherapy service under yours and your collegues mentorship provided me with invaluable knowledge and experience, which continues to guide me as I move forward in my career. The foundation I built during my time at Gemelli has proven indispensable, especially in helping me navigate the new challenges and responsibilities of being a resident doctor in France. It was a truly formative time for me which encouraged me and continues to have a profound impact on my journey. I will always cherish the time I spent at Gemelli and the lessons I learned there.
On a lighter and funnier note, the longer I stay among parisians, the more I find myself missing the warmth and spirit of italians! I think of my time at Gemelli often, and I am grateful for the memories and friendships I formed there.
Thank you once again for everything, and I am looking forward for our paths to cross again in the future.
Warm regards,
Dina Marianne
